Advancing Smart Traceability at the Port of Bilbao with the TRAZA-NIR Project
We are pleased to share exciting news in the field of logistics innovation at the Port of Bilbao. Our company is currently developing TRAZA-NIR, a pioneering project in collaboration with Servicios Logísticos Portuarios, SLP, supported by BilbaoPort and funded through the Ports 4.0 programme led by Puertos del Estado.
A step forward in traceability and quality
The aim of TRAZA-NIR is to design and implement an IoT platform that enhances the traceability and quality certification of goods handled at the port.
This solution consists of three key components:
First, sensors based on NIR technology, which provide real-time data on the quality and origin of goods during loading, unloading, and storage processes.
Second, an IoT platform designed to collect and manage this data in real time.
And finally, a real-time certification system powered by Blockchain technology.
This will not only improve operational efficiency but also ensure complete and reliable traceability.
