2025. SUCCESS STORY: MONITORING TXAKOLI WINE PRODUCTION
As part of the BIND 4.0 Demoday held in Donostia in 2025, this project was presented as a success story showcasing effective collaboration between a startup and an SME. Developed in partnership with ARTOMAÑA TXAKOLIÑA, the initiative focused on monitoring key parameters in the production of txakoli wine. This technological implementation will enable the winery to respond swiftly to any deviations in the process, thereby improving operational efficiency.
Iker participates in the Technical Conferences of the Burgos Industry 4.0 meeting, held in September 2024 in Burgos, presenting the results of the project carried out in consortium with the company Lev2050, framed in the call ActivaStartUps of Navarra and funded by the European Union and the EOI Foundation, for the development of a solution for the real-time monitoring of the malolactic fermentation.

Thanks to the collaboration between Tele 7 and BIC Ezkerraldea, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, a programme sponsored by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, this interview took place in our office in which Iker tells us about the evolution of our most important research projects in the food industry, the chemical industry and the water sector.
2024. IoT PLATFORM FOR WINE PRODUCTION MONITORING
Iker García, CEO of AOTECH and Mariano Álava, CEO of Bodegas Artomaña Txakoliña, present at the DemoDay event of BIND SME, held in Bilbao in June 2024, the results obtained in the project they have carried out for the development of a portable IoT platform to extract and analyse advanced data, which will help in decision-making during the Txakoli production process.

VALIDATION TESTS
Last March we visited, together with the UPV-EHU (APG) Applied Photonics Group, the ITWL facilities in Poland to carry out the validation tests of our new AOTC-TT optoelectronic equipment and fiber optic probes for the measurements of Tip Clearance and Tip Timing in aeronautical engines. We will shortly report the results obtained and in the meantime, we leave you this video of the engine in which the tests were carried out and where our optical sensors located in the compressor can be seen.
