The BlockOptical project, developed in collaboration with CodeContract, is progressing with promising preliminary results.
This initiative aims to enhance the reliability of the data collected by our IoT platform by certifying information related to production quality and regulatory compliance in a secure and transparent manner.
Concrete examples in the food sector could include:
-
Minimum fat content in products such as milk or mayonnaise
-
Maximum moisture percentages in butter
-
Proportions of virgin and refined olive oil in olive oil products
-
Certification of low-sugar or low-salt products
Thanks to this integration, it will be possible to issue legally valid, real-time certified traceability reports — something increasingly valued by our clients.
The project forms part of the Industria Digitala programme by the Spri Group, aimed at supporting all companies in the Basque Country by providing them with the resources and personalised guidance needed to enhance their competitiveness through the adoption of digital and sustainable technologies that help them develop competitive advantages and improve their market positioning.
We will continue to share updates and final results from this innovative project.
