Components for elements of critical systems test benches.
In this industrial research project that we carry out together with Intermaher, Mufer, Kendu and Metal Estalki a whole chain of design and process definition will be defined for components that will be used for the prototypes of rotors to be tested in test benches, both in the Basque Country and in the rest of Europe.
The role of AOTECH within the COMPLETER project will consist of the development of several lines of research. On the one hand, the development of a system for monitoring the mechanical behaviour of the blades installed in a demonstrator using optical sensors. It will be possible to monitor the blades of the fan, the compressor or the turbine. The parameters to be monitored will be tip clearance (TC) and tip timing (TT).
On the other hand, fibre optic sensors are going to be developed to measure pressure and temperature that will be embedded in instrumented rakes.
As the third line of research, an optical measurement system will be designed for the dimensional analysis of the blades manufactured during the project.
