BIOMIM project. biosensor for the detection of metals in milk.
We start a new project! Thanks to the support of S3FOOD and hand in hand with ASINCAR, we launch the design and development of two biosensors based on optical fibre for real-time and in-line detection of metals in milk. One of the most important and challenging contaminations in the dairy sector is due to heavy metals. That is why from AOTECH, we are determined to provide this huge industry with two devices capable of detecting and quantifying copper and lead in milk.
In this way, we wish to contribute to the modernisation and digitalisation of the sector, providing it with innovative and economical devices, which will quickly pay off due to the savings caused by the disappearance of expensive laboratory sample analysis.
Once again, we apply photonics to the food industry, in this case, the dairy sector.
